~IT'S A GIRL~

Congratulations to Sally & Brian!!!! Baby 3 came yesterday morning shortly after 7:30 a.m. Madeline Jane weighed in at 7 pounds 1 ounce and was 20" long! She has dark hair. She joins her older brother-Andrew Brian (age 6) and her older sister-Katie Lynn (age 4). She had a touch of low blood sugar but they put her on an IV and got that back up right away. She is, however, still on the IV with antibiotics for a little infection she may have. Sally didn't have her in her room hardly at all yesterday and had to go to the nursery to hold/nurse her. She was bored when I talked to her last night but was feeling pretty good!! These pics are from Maddi's aunt Amy and I will have more to post this weekend. I am going to see them today. I can not wait to see/hold her!!!!!!!! OH and the special thing is ---- she was born on her Grammie's birthday! What a birthday present, Sis!!! That is neat!!!

The Cat in the Hat??

noooo.............that's not it. The cat and the mouse? Nope - that ain't it either. Hmmmmmm
OH! I got it! The cat and the Rabbit!!!!

Right before we were leaving for church this morning, Ambrose said to me, "Do you know where your cat is?" He was standing in the spare bedroom as he said that. I responded, "In the window in there?", as I proceeded to walk in the room. This is where she was!!!!!!

The bunny that she has apparently bonded with is one of the bunnies that I made for my grandma several years ago. (Yessss, I used to sew and quite well if you as me) Anyhow, after she passed away last spring, I was given the bunnies and now I have them in the spare bedroom. Gracie was just as nonchalant as she could be up there just washing away! LOL She looked at us now and then like "What........haven't you ever seen a cat on a stuffed rabbit before"
LOL

That is pretty much all there is to report. Well...one other thing.........Miss Luck was "turned loose" this morning...so she now has the pasture all to herself. Am reports that she really didn't seem to realize that she was FREEEE....and then all of a sudden she did! lol Seems to be doing fine in there. The three heifers (1, 2 & 3) and the bull were turned into the lot with the "big" cows yesterday. SO hopefully he has started doing "his work" that he was brought here for! We'll find out about the 11th of March!!!! Like humans, cows have a 9 month gestation period. Did you know that? {they also have 4 stomachs and teeth only on the bottom.....I'm quite familiar with the teeth now...or at least the tongue and bottom gum....Lucky is a sucker/licker hehe}

Have a great week!!!!!
